Welcome to Antwerp NY Farm This 400+ acre property is located about one mile from the town of Austin N.Y.. This land is mostly in grass with acres of trees surrounding each field. The property is currently an operating dairy farm. This property gets tons of snow as it get lake effect snows. We estimate that there 200 acres open and 200 acres wooded. There are no large hills as it is mostly flat. We have owned this land for a number of years. There are not tons of deer but the deer tend to be large bodied deer. Welcome! It is located in a rural, scenic part of the State, known as the "North Country" in northern New York, the St. Lawrence River, and are adjacent to Lake Ontario, near the Canadian Province of Ontario. This area is home to Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division, and tourism and agriculture are also large parts of the economy and lifestyle of this community. Watertown is the County seat. At 25,000 residents, it is a regionally important city with a 19th century architectural flavor. The County has about 20 villages known for its small town living. I have never seen any 4 star accomadations but is that what a deer hunter wants? We hope to lease our farm out to a group of avid long term hunters.
